Data Deletion
Anyone whose data OneHux Forge holds — a Vendor running an agent, or someone who has messaged a business's agent over WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, phone, or a website chat widget — can request that their data be deleted. Here's exactly how.
If you're a Vendor
- Send a data deletion request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your OneHux Forge account.
- Include your account email and, if you have more than one business profile, which one(s) you'd like deleted — or let us know you want your entire account and all associated businesses removed.
- We will verify the request comes from the account owner and confirm by email once it's received.
Once verified, we will delete, within 30 days:
- Your account and profile information.
- All business profiles, trained agents, and uploaded/embedded training data for those businesses.
- Conversation history stored for those agents.
- Channel connection credentials (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, phone, website widget) — connected channels are also disconnected as part of this process.
Billing and transaction records may be retained for a longer period where we are legally required to keep them (for example, for tax, accounting, or fraud- prevention purposes), but will no longer be linked to an active account.
If you're a customer who messaged a business using OneHux Forge
If you've messaged a business's AI agent on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, phone, or that business's website, your conversation is stored by OneHux Forge on behalf of that business, the same way a message sent to any business's support inbox would be.
- Send a request to [email protected], including the business you messaged and the phone number, Instagram/Facebook handle, or email address you used to contact them.
- We will identify and delete the conversation history and any associated contact information tied to that identifier, within 30 days.
You may also be able to request deletion directly from the business itself, or through the messaging platform's own privacy controls (for example, Meta's own "Off-Facebook Activity" or data access tools for WhatsApp/Instagram/Messenger).
Data received via Facebook Login, Instagram, or WhatsApp
Where a Vendor connects a Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, or WhatsApp Business number to OneHux Forge, we only ever hold the connection credentials and messages exchanged through that connection — never a personal Facebook profile's private data outside what the Vendor explicitly authorized. Disconnecting a channel from your OneHux Forge dashboard deletes the stored credentials for that channel immediately. To also remove historical conversation data tied to that channel, follow the Vendor deletion steps above.
