How OneHux Forge works

Connecting Your Channels

Every channel connects the same way: click Connect, log in with your own account, and pick what to connect. You never create a developer app or paste an access token yourself — that's all handled for you.

What each channel unlocks

Website Widget

A live chat bubble on your own website. No account or approval needed — active the moment you connect it.

WhatsApp

Your agent answers messages sent to a WhatsApp Business number.

Facebook

Messenger replies, Auto-Post to your Page, and automatic replies to comments on your posts — all from one connection.

Instagram

DM replies, Auto-Post, and automatic comment replies — connects automatically alongside Facebook if your Page has a linked Instagram account.

Google Business

Automatic replies to new reviews, and publishing updates as Local Posts. Google doesn't offer customer chat on Business Profile, so messaging isn't available here.

Telegram

Your agent answers messages sent to your own Telegram bot.

Website Widget

The simplest channel — no external account needed.

  1. Open your agent's workspace and go to the Channels tab.
  2. Click Enable Website Widget, optionally set a welcome message, and submit.
  3. Copy the embed snippet shown and paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website.

That's it — the widget is live immediately, no waiting.

Facebook & Instagram

One connection covers both, if your Page has Instagram linked.

What you need:

  • A personal Facebook account that's an admin of the Facebook Page you want to connect.
  • To also connect Instagram: an Instagram professional (Business or Creator) account linked to that same Page.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Channels tab and click Connect Facebook Page.
  2. Log in with Facebook if you aren't already, and approve the permissions requested.
  3. If you manage more than one Page, pick the one to connect.
  4. Done — Facebook (and Instagram, if linked) show as Active immediately.

WhatsApp

Connects through Meta's own WhatsApp signup flow, in a popup.

What you need:

  • A phone number that can receive an SMS or call for verification, and isn't already active on the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app (Meta will ask you to remove it from those first if it is).
  • A Facebook account to sign in with.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Channels tab and click Connect WhatsApp.
  2. In the popup, log in with Facebook and either select an existing WhatsApp Business Account or create a new one.
  3. Add and verify your phone number when prompted.
  4. Close the popup once signup finishes — the channel shows as Active automatically.

Google Business

Reviews and posts only — Google doesn't offer customer chat on Business Profile.

What you need:

  • A Google account that manages your Business Profile.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Channels tab and click Connect Google Business.
  2. Sign in with Google and approve the permissions requested.
  3. If you manage more than one location, pick the one to connect.
  4. Done — new reviews get an automatic reply, and your agent can publish updates.

Telegram

The only channel where you create your own bot first — this is normal for Telegram, and takes under a minute.

What you need:

  • A Telegram account.

Steps:

  1. Open a chat with @BotFather on Telegram and send /newbot.
  2. Follow the prompts to name your bot — BotFather gives you a token when it's done.
  3. Go to the Channels tab, click Connect Telegram, and paste that token.
  4. Done — share your bot's Telegram link with customers to start chatting.

Questions

Do I need a Meta developer account?

No. You connect with your normal Facebook/Instagram login — OneHux Forge handles everything else.

A channel shows "Pending" or "Error" — what do I do?

Try reconnecting from the Channels tab. If it keeps happening, reach out to [email protected] with your business name and which channel is affected.

Can I connect a different Page or number later?

Yes — click Reconnect on that channel's card and go through the same steps again with the new account.

Will my agent reply to every comment or review automatically?

Yes — once Facebook or Instagram is connected, your agent replies to new comments on your posts; once Google Business is connected, it replies to new reviews. Both use whatever your agent's been trained on, the same way it replies to messages.

Meta occasionally requires additional verification on their end before a channel is available to every business — this is outside our control, but connecting your account is always the first and only step you need to take.
